Two- day (January 23-24) training for unemployed persons on Agriculture, Livestock and poultry Birds held in the conference room of Kurigram Zila Parishad at 10.00 am on Sunday (January 23) cooperation by District Livestock Office and funded by Zila Parishad,Kurigram.

Mayor of Kurigram municipality Md. Kaziul Islam was present as the chief guest while Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Md. Faridul Islam was in the chair. District Livestock Officer (DLO) Md. Abdul Hye Sarkar, Kurigram Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer (ULO) Dr.Md. Habibur Rahman, Assistant Engineer of Zila Parishad Md. Mizanur Rahman and member of Zila Parishad Assistant Professor Mahbuba Begum Lovely were present as the special guests.

The speakers emphasized the importance of training to build up our better knowledge and changing lifestyle. Many of us don’t know how to actual rearing system of poultry birds and Livestock. The training will very helpful to rear poultry Birds in the actual and scientific method which will fulfill the demand of our nutrition.

The training director Dr. Habibur Rahman said most of the people in rural areas are not aware about the system of rearing and chicken diseases and vaccination.

A total of 40 unemployed persons were participated in the training. Most of them are female. The Reporters of both electronic and print media were also present.
