The 10th International Public Health Conference to be started in Bogura

Uttering the slogan “Leveraging Innovation for Resilient Health System” a 2-day long 10th International Public Health Conference-2024 will be started at TMSS Medical College and Momo Inn Hotel and Resort in Bogura on Friday morning.

Public Health Foundation, Bangladesh and TMSS Medical College jointly arrange the conference for the first time outside the capital of Bangladesh.

On the conference, a press briefing was held at Bogura Press Club premise to let the journos as well as the people know about the motto of the conference.

Chair Person of the conference Prof. Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, Member of the conference committee and Deputy Executive Director of TMSS Rtn. Dr. Md. Motiur Rahman, Prof. Dr. Sharmin Yesmin, Co-Chair Person, Expert Prof. Dr. Fatema Ashraf, Principal of TMSS Medical College and Hospital Prof. Dr. Zakir Hossain, Dr. Shegupta Mohammad from Geneva, Prof. Dr. Ashan Habib, Prof. Dr. Shamim Chowdhury and others were present during the briefing.

The briefing said that in the conference at least 40 internationally renowned expert delegates and 516 professionals on public health, students from Bangladesh will hopefully be expected to attend the conference.

The motto of the conference is to gather the world leading researchers, public health professionals, policy makers and students so that they can exchange their views and knowledge on public health related problems and issues.

The 14 sub-thematic arenas of the conference are Health System Finnacing towards achieving Universal Health Coverage; Reproductive and Child Health; Emerging and Re-emerging diseases and antimicrobial diseases; non-communicable diseases; Mental Health and Well-being; Public health nutrition; Environmental Health and Climate Change; Urban Health; Oral Health; Health Science Ethics; Graceful Aging and Geriatric Healthcare; Digital Health and Innovation; Health Policy, Governance and Management; and Public Health Literacy.
