Newly joined Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty BPM (Services) has said that police services should be extended to the people in every village in the district.

All police forces have to work with dedication. There is no compromise with drugs. The police must enforce all laws to control drugs in the district. He was speaking as the chief guest at a visit to Adamdighi police station on Wednesday afternoon.

When the new Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakraborty entered the Adamdighi Police Station, the Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police of Adamdighi Circle Najran Rauf greeted him warmly. After receiving the Guard of Honor (Salami), the police toured the Super Thana premises.

Later, he met the police members of the police station in an exchange of views on law and order since Officer-in-charge of the police station Jalal Uddin presided over the meeting.

He directed to intensify anti-drug campaign with the cooperation of the people to strengthen law and order in the police station. Senior ASP Nazran Rouf, Chairman Sirajul Islam Khan Raju,  OC (Investigation) Almas Ali, SI Pradeep Kumar, Rakib Hossain, Solaiman Ali and others spoke.
