Sonahat Land port authority under Bhurungamariupazila in Kurigramdeclared closed for seven days on the eve of Durga Puja and the export-import activities will remain stopped.

President and general secretary of SonahatLand port C & F agent association Sarkar Rakib Ahmed Jewel and MostafaJaman respectively signed in a letter which has been informed.

President of SonahatLandport C & F agent association Sarkar Rakib Ahmed Jewel ensured the matter on Monday (October 16).

It was said that all the activities of import-export will be closed fromOctober 21-October 26. The next day is Friday causes the office will be opened on Saturday (October 28) and all activities of the land port will star again.

Assistant Director (Traffic) of Sonahat Land port Mohammad Ruhul Amin also ensured the matter.
