Road accident killed a boy and his father was injured seriously at Fulbariupazila in Kurigram at noon on Sunday (June 25).

The deceased was identified as MasudRana 9 son of EkramulHaque of village Gangarhat under Fulbariupazila.

The accident took place at Chader Bazar while father and son were coming towards Fulbari riding a bicycle, a bricks laden Trolley was running from their back side. Suddenly the tire of the trolley was punctured and the driver lost the control and hit them from behind. The father and son were injured seriously. Later locals recovered them and immediately taken to Fulbariupazila health complex where the attending doctor declared the son dead. The father EkramulHaque 40 was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in a critical condition for better treatment.

Officer-in-charge of Fulbari police station Fazlur Rahman said the killer trolley was seized and brought to thana and driver was fled away after the incident. Lawful action will be taken after getting the complaint.
