A Smart employment fair for creating job opportunities for the youth was inaugurated by the state minister for the ministry of ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak at Shaheed Titu Millenayatan in Bogura town on Saturday afternoon.
State Minister for ICT Ministry Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present in the inauguration programme as the chief guest while Member of parliament (Bogura sadar constituency-01) and General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami league, Bogura district unit Ragebul Ahsan Ripu and member of parliament (Bogura-04 constituency) Rezaul Karim Tansen, President of Bangladesh Awami League, Boura district unit Mojibur Rahman Mojnu, Deputy Commissioner of Bogura Md. Saiful Islam, Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakrabarty and others were present as the special guests.
The Chief guest said that only the young and smart entrepreneurs can build and turn digital Bangladesh into the future smart Bangladesh by 2041 and honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for making the dream true.
Organisers said that at least 33 companies have attended in the fair in Bogura which wish to create employment for 5000 youths and so far, 21 youths have been given jobs in the fair and few hundreds will get job from the fair.
The fair will make bridge among job seekers, applicants and job givers so that the smart and trained youth can be provided training and job as well.
Earlier, the state minister on the way to Bogura from Natore attended in the programme of setting foundation stone of Joy SEAT Centre at Nandigram upazila area in Bogura on Saturday noon. Later in the afternoon, the minister also inaugurated Joy SEAT Centre in sadar upazila in Bogura too.
