Skills competition of Rajshahi region was held in Chapainawabganj. The competition was held on Saturday morning at the Bangabandhu Manch in Chapainawabganj under the Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET)-Asset Project under the Directorate of Technical Education under the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education of the Ministry of Education.
Dr. Farid Uddin Ahmad, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Department of the Ministry of Education, was present as the chief guest.
Dr. Sirajul Islam, Additional Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Joint Secretary Fatema Jahan and Acting Deputy Commissioner Debendra Nath Uraon and Additional Project Director of Asset Project (Deputy Secretary) Abdur Rahim were present as special guests.
Directorate General of Technical Education Aziz Taher Khan presided over the event. Before this, a colorful rally was taken out.
Incidentally, a total of 48 projects from 16 technical institutes of Rajshahi region, 3 selected at the institutional level participated in this competition.
Chapainawabganj Government Technical School and College’s ‘Smart Car’ project won the first place in the competition. Sirajganj Polytechnic Institute’s project titled ‘Self-cleaning roads and temperature control’ won the second place. Besides, Rajshahi Women’s Polytechnic Institute’s ‘Doyers, International Online Marketplace Web Application’ project won the third place.
