Sheep, Home building materials & Food distributed free of cost in Sherpur

Honourable Prime Minister has taken a special initiative to support the development of all the backward and disadvantaged groups of the country without leaving anyone behind. In that case, Bangabandhu’s daughter Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is committed to advance the country along with the socio-economic and living standards of the backward  and indigenous ethnic groups living in the plains of the Directorate of Livestock.
On Sunday Upazila Livestock Open Forum organized by Upazila Livestock Department & Veterinary Hospital, sheep, house building materials and food were distributed  free cost  among 292 families.  As the chief Guest Member of National Parliament of Sherpur-Dhunot Constituency Alhaj Habibar Rahman MP spoke above the speech in the distribution meeting.
Sherpur Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Rayhan spoke as the chief coordinator of the event.  Md. Raihan P.A.said, with the aim of sustainable development, the Department of Livestock has continued its multi-purpose activities in economic prosperity, creating skilled human resources through distribution of livestock materials, training and technical support to the underprivileged community.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sanjida Sultana preside over the meeting while   Bogura District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Sajedul Islam spoke as a special guest.
Besides,Sherpur Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Shah Jamal Siraji, Officer-in-Charge of Sherpur Police Station Babu Kumar Saha, Municipal Councilor Badrul Islam Poddar Bobby also spoke in the meeting.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturalist  Farzana Akhtar and Senior Fisheries Officer Sharmin Akhtar along with the leaders of indigenous and ethnic groups were also present on the occasion.
At this time, 2 sheep, 4 cement poles, 5 rubber mats, 2 sheets of corrugated tin and 27 kg of grain food were distributed free of cost among the beneficiaries.
