The great Victory Day and the golden jubilee of victory have been celebrated with due dignity in Chapainawabganj. On the occasion of the day, the Road Department, Chapainawabganj has laid a wreath paying homage to the martyrs of the liberation war of 1971.

As soon as the sun rose on Saturday, the national flag was hoisted at its own building and a procession carrying the banner of victory was held to pay homage to the martyred freedom fighters and later, the portrait of Bangabandhu was paid homage to by Executive Engineer of District Roads and Highways Department Sanjida Afrin Jhinuk.

Sub-Divisional Engineer of District Roads and Highways Department Mehdi Khan, Rezwana Karim and all the officers & employees were present at the time.
