Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) vice-chancellor professor M Rostam Ali has managed the university very efficiently during his three year tenure. On the occasion of the completion of three years, the vice-chancellor was greeted by the teachers, officials, staff and students.

In a very pompous and joyous atmosphere, on Saturday morning in his office, vice-chancellor, soaked in flowers and greetings, sought the cooperation of all to continue the ongoing development activities of the University.

On the completion of three years, the faculty and officials of the university have said that the vice-chancellor is coming to run the university properly by following all the rules and regulations of the university. Due to his tireless work and intense love for the university, the development activities of the university are progressing rapidly.

A press release signed by Md. Faruque Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy Director (DD) of the public relations department of the university, said that the teacher of the Department of applied chemistry and chemical engineering of Rajshahi University, prof. Dr. M Rostam Ali joined as the vice chancellor of Pabna University of Science and Technology on March 7, 2018. March 7 was the day of the vice-chancellor’s three-year term. On the occasion of the successful completion of the three-year term, on March 13, the teachers, officials, staff and students unofficially greeted the vice-chancellor with flowers.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. M Rostam Ali expressed his feelings, “I see different problems here after joining. I have tried to fix the problems. I also submit development projects for teachers and students and the government approves it. Tk 480 crore project is in the final stage of implementation. I am trying my best to create an ideal learning and research environment for the students.” He also said for the purpose of students, teachers should be respected and knowledge should be extracted from them. He emphasised on the commitment of all to make equal sacrifices to keep the development efforts of the university active.
