Due to one mistake after another of Pabna University of Science and Technology, different quarters are making different comments about the teachers and officials. 

Pabna University of Science and Technology has fixed the time for filling up the form on a date a year ago and the concerned department of the university has issued a notice by conducting late night examination.

The information has been given in a separate circular signed by Dipankar Kundu, president of the examination committee of the concerned department and Suja Uddin, assistant registrar of the academic and scholarship branch.

There has been such a storm of criticism on the subject through various social media, similarly, many have felt that the development of talent or indifference of the teaching officers is happening.

According to the notification, a notice was issued on June 12, 2021 on the pad of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at PUST.

It is mentioned there that the theoretical examination of the 4th year 1st semester of the 2015-2016 session of that department will be held. All concerned were directed to be present on time.

It has been mentioned that June 23, course EEE 4121, 28 June EEE 4135, 3 July EEE 4109,  July 7, EEE 4101 and July 13, EEE 4103 will also be held.  According to each test routine, the test will start at 10:30 pm and will end at 1:30 pm.

On the other hand, the date of filling the form for the special examination 2018 of the students of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University for the academic year 2014-2015 has been fixed from 2021 to 2020.

This was stated in a circular signed on June 13 signed by Assistant Registrar of Academic and Scholarship Branch Suja Uddin.

Shortly after receiving the notice, the students made various comments on a Facebook page of the university “PUST Campus Our Campus”. Sumaiya Yasmin, a student, wrote, “Wow, this time everyone can take the exam after performing the Tahajjud prayers.

A student named Sweet Mandal writes on page about the wrong date of the exam, and when he becomes aware of these things, people learn from mistakes. Another student wrote, who gave them the job? They seem to have eaten something dry. Another wrote, I am a victim of a lot of trolls. Friends from different varsities are trolling with mentions. The year 2020 is gone, how can we get back that date?  Another student Sajib Hasan wrote, “Different students are making different comments, including ‘Circus is going on’.”

Dipankar Kundu, president of the theoretical examination committee of the first semester of the 4th year of the 2015-2016 session of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, confirmed the matter and said that it was a typing mistake by mistake and the time would be fixed.  Asked how such a big mistake was made, he could not give any kind of good answer.

After several attempts on the phone, Assistant Registrar of Academic and Scholarship Branch of Pabna University of Science and Technology Shuja Uddin could not be reached for comment.

However, a senior official of the Pabiprabi Registrar’s Office said on condition of anonymity that it may have been a typo. However, such mistakes can never be accepted at the university level. Often such mistakes are made, such incidents happen again and again because no one takes any action.
