A check of 24,000 taka is distributed in the 2nd phase of higher education scholarship to meritorious students from poor and extremely poor families. SDF awarded higher education scholarships to 43 meritorious students from poor families of Chapainawabganj district. Earlier, 10 lakh 32 thousand tk were paid to 43 people in the first phase of 24 thousand taka.
On Wednesday (October 30) at the Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad conference room, meritorious students were awarded ‘higher education scholarships’. Mohammad Kamal Bashar, regional director of SDF, Jessore region, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest said that the activities of SDF are being effectively implemented in 3 upazilas of Chapainawabganj district. This scholarship is making a great impact on the higher education of poor meritorious students.
SDF has been working brilliantly in the poor families of the deprived villages of Chapainawabganj district by training the unemployed youth with scholarships through sustainable organization in wage-based and self-employment. By this, the interest of poor talented students of Chapainawabganj district in higher education is increasing and the unemployed youth are getting employment.
