Professor Nasim Unddin Pramanik, the former head of the dwpartment of English of Rangpur Carmichael College, Govt. Begun Rokeya and Shah Sultan College Bogura passed away on Monday mornig after suffering from liver cancen.
He was 70. He retired from Job in 2008. He left his wife, a son and two daughters. He was a noted writer as well who wrote four books on various subjects. He came Bhabanigonj under Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi district. He was a brilliant student of RU. He was the father in law of Md Mamun ur Rashid, Bogura Correspondent of The Asian Age.
It is noted that he is the father-in-law of Mamun-or-Rashid, the special correspondent of the widely circulated Daily Asia newspaper. The editor of Daily Asia Emdadul Haque expressed his condolences on the death of the veteran scholar. Along with that, the peace of the departed soul has been sought.
