Police have arrested two female drug dealers with 40 bottles of phensedyl in Garidah union under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.
They were arrested from Garidaha bus stand area around 8 pm on Wednesday (December 22) of the upazila.
The arrested are Hamida Begum, 45, wife of Sarwar Hossain of Dakshin Basudebpur village in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur and Shyamoli Khatun, 36, daughter of late Azad Mandal of the same village.
Sherpur Police Station SI Sachu Biswas said, 40 bottles of phensedyl were recovered from them. They were sent to jail on Thursday with a case under the Narcotics Control Act.
