A three wheeler (Auto) driver was killed and two passengers were injured hit by a Dhaka bound night coach on Nageswari –Kurigram highway at night on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Shahid Miah of Nursary para atRayganjunion under Nageswariupazila of the district.

Local sources said the accident took place at Bhai Bhai crossing on Nageswari-Kurigram road where the three wheeler collided head on with a Dhaka bound night coach at night on Thursday.The three wheeler rammed and there persons were injured seriously who were immediately taken to Nageswariupazila Health complex where the attending doctor declared Shahid Miah dead.The two other passengers are now under treatment at Nageswariupazila Health Complex.

Officer-in-charge of Nageswari police station NabiulHasan admitted the incident.
