The new office building for Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) Shekhahar branch at Shekhahar area on Bogura-Noagaon road in Kahaloo of Bogura was inaugurated on Wednesday noon.

General Manager of RAKUB head office Md. Atiqul Islam inaugurated the new office building for the branch as the chief guest while DGM of RAKUB (North Zone) of Bogura Md. Bellal Hossain and DGM of RAKUB (South Zone) Md. Shahinur Islam were present as the special guests. The inauguration programme was presided over by the branch Manager Aditi Das.

Other speakers were Chairman of Shekhahar union Selim Uddin, Retired officer of RAKUB Mejbah Uddin, the owner of the building Dr. Mosharaf Hossain Khandakar, Bankers Club representative and Manager of Mutual Trust Bank, Bogura branch Shamiul Karim, Clients of the bank Shapon Mollik and Zaminur Rahman and others.

The speakers demanded the client-oriented banking and digital services from the bank officials without any harassment so that they can contribute to the economy of the country and can make Bogura as store house of crops.

Chief guest said that after the sacrifice of the blood of students and people, the country became from the hands of autocrat and they have to ensure utmost services to the root-level people so that they can achieve the solvency of the economic arena of the country and no sympathy, no courtesy to the bank defaulters rather they can provide easy term loan facilities for the root-level farmers.
