A team of District DB Police has arrested a mother and daughter with heroin worth Tk 70 lakh under Godagari of Rajshahi.
DB Inspector Atiqur Rahman and allied forces arrested them from Srimantapur area under Godagari police station at 3:15 pm on Tuesday (January 25). At that time 715 grams of heroin was recovered from them.

He said that on Tuesday (January 25) afternoon, based on secret information, the DB police came to know that two women drug dealers were bringing drugs through Srimantapur area under Gadagari police station. On the basis of such information, they raided the place and arrested them with 715 grams of heroin.
A case has been filed against the arrested women drug dealers under the Narcotics Control Act at Godagari Model Police Station.
He was handed over to the court on Wednesday (January 26) at 11:30 am, a district police spokesman said.
