A woman, NGO manager named Sanjida Begum (35), was robbed of her mobile phone by bikers.

NGO manager Sanjida Begum filed a snatching case at Motihar police station at 11pm on Sunday. She is the manager of Kharkhari branch of Shapla village development agency under Chandrima police station in Rajshahi metropolis.

Sanjida Begum said she had a meeting at the area office at Banishwar Bazar in the upazila on Friday evening. After the office meeting, he left for New Market in Rajshahi by auto. On the way, in front of Mirzapur School under Motihar Police Station, on the highway, two youths snatched his vanity bag with their hands. At that time they increased the speed of the motorcycle and fled.

She added that the vanity bag contained some important papers, including cash, a gold chain and a Samsung mobile. He also said that the snatchers took away goods worth lakhs of rupees.

Officer in charge (OC) of Motihar polic esaid Anwar Ali Tuhin Ali said the bikers were snatching valuables including money and mobiles of the NGO manager. NGO manager Sanjida Begum has filed a case with the police station. The OC also said that the accused would be arrested soon and brought under the law.
