Ladies Club has distributed blankets among hundreds of needy people on behalf of the Prime Minister in Chapainawabganj. Mahfuza Sultana, president of Chapainawabganj Ladies Club and District Women’s Sports Association (wife of District Administrator AKM Galiv Khan) distributed these blankets as the chief guest on Wednesday afternoon at the ladies club premises.

The chief guest urged everyone to dedicate themselves to public service from their respective positions.

Among others present on the occasion were Dr. Reshma Akhtar (wife of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Agriculture Ahmed Mahbub-ul Islam), UNO of Sadar Upazila Tashmina Khatun, Tanjila Afrin Mau (wife of NDC Tawfiq Aziz), Umme Habiba Tuli (wife of Assistant Commissioner Mir Al Mansoor Shoaib), Zakia Khatun (wife of Assistant Commissioner Aminul Islam), club member Faruka Begum and member advocate Anjuman Ara.

On the other hand, District Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan distributed blankets among 50 freedom fighters and 300 cold common people at Charbagdanga Union Parishad premises yesterday evening.
