Kamruzzaman Kamru, who is at the peak of popularity, is also said to be at the top of the election campaign. Since the day after last Eid-ul-Fitr, this activist-friendly candidate has been spending his time in election mass communication around Mithapukur.

A first-class contractor and businessman by profession, Kamruzzaman Kamru was born in a noble Muslim family in a village called Sultanpur, near the headquarters of Mithapukur Upazila.  He is competing for the post of Upazila  Chairman  in the sixth Upazila  Parishad  Election  to be held on May 21.

This high voltage candidate, known as a factory for thousands of workers, was seen connecting with hundreds of workers in various areas last Friday and Saturday.

Last Friday, he was seen connecting election masses at various election points of No. 1 Khoragach Union of Mithapukur Upazila. Among the various places of Khoragach Union, the notable places are: Padaganj, Rupsi Taltala, Moulbhiganj, Chaker Hat, Rukniganj etc. At this time, it is known that he exchanged views with the worshipers in different mosques at the end of Asr and Maghrib prayers along with the Friday Jumma prayers.

Again last Saturday the traders and buyers of Mithapukur Gonsai Bazar (Central Market) met with the general public.

Four people are competing for the post of Upazila  Chairman  in Mithapukur upazila in the sixth Upazila  Parishad  Election . They are 1. Kamruzzaman Kamru 2. Shah Sadman Ishraq 3. Motahar Hossain Mandal Mawla and 4. Mustafa Zaman Parvez.

 There are three candidates for the post of Vice  Chairman. They are: 1. Niranjan Mahant 2. Abdul Halim Mandal and 3. Rabiul Islam is authentic. Two Female  Vice  Chairman  candidates are: 1. Shamima Akhtar and 2. Delwara Begum.
