Education Minister Dipu Moni said that it is not possible to build a smart Bangladesh without the development of the education system. Smart education is needed to make smart citizens. Bangabandhu said investment in education is the best investment.
She wanted to build Sonar Bangla. Bangabandhu came to the charge of managing the country and brought great changes in the education system. We have accordingly taken the initiative to republish the Education Policy of 2010.
She said these things while participating in the awarding of gold medals to meritorious students at Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium in Rajshahi University (Rabi) on Monday (January 30).
Dipu Moni said that all universities should have an academic master plan, which should be changed as per the need. Research should be aimed at making it useful for our future. Training of teachers should be arranged through UGC. Besides, knowledge should be acquired in any subject. To stop unnecessary wastage of students, we want to do batch method. Bangabandhu wanted one-way education but it has become multi-way education.
She also said, will talk, show mistakes but not lies. Speak truthfully. Anyone who tells a lie cannot be listened to. The path of truth is difficult. Lying can have no place in independent Bangladesh.
