An Inter-house sports competition of Bogura Millennium Scholastic School and College and Prize giving ceremony was held at its own campus inside Jahangirabad Cantonment in Bogura on Saturday.

Chief Patron of Millennium Scholastic School and College, Bogura, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Bogura area Major General Md. Khaled Al Mamun pbgm, ndc, psc was present as the chief guest while special guest was Nahid Sharmin.

President of the Governing Body of Millennium Scholastic School and College Brigadier General Shufi Ataur Rahman ndc, psc presided over the whole sports programme.

GOC of Bogura area command Md. Khaled Al Mamun pbgm, ndc, psc in his greeting speech said that the students have to participate in different extra-curriculum activities besides their academic works for becoming efficient and humane individuals.

Such activities will create mental power and strength inside the future generation which help to go forward beloved Bangladesh to its height of success and development, added the GOC.

In the programme, Principal, Vice-Principals, Teachers, Guardians, valued guests and the members of the governing body were present spontaneously.

The Principal of Millennium Scholastic School and College, Bogura, Lieutenant Colonel Md. Mahafuz Ul Bari, pbgm, psc, Arty in his speech depicted the overall situation, possibilities of the institution and he also assured that the institution has also taken such programme beside their normal academic activities for the mental flourishment.

In the day-long sports competition, the 323 competitors from different classes of the instition took part in 53 events of the sports and the sports competition was followed by an enchanting cultural programme by little learners of the school and college and prize-giving ceremony.
