Independent aspirant pressures over 14-party aspirant in Bogura

The MP aspirants of Bogura-04 (Kahaloo-Nandigramn) constituency have been passing busy hours in the last moment of 12th National Election and seeking votes from doors to doors for their final triumph.

The 14 party-backed and existing MP of the constituency with Boat symbol has been under pressure with the popularity and pro-public activities of the independent aspirant and 4 times former MP of Bogura-04 constituency Dr. Ziaul Haque Molla with Eagle symbol.

The aspirants are 14-party nominated aspirant and existing MP from Jashod AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen with boat symbol who narrowly defeated Ashraful Alam allies Hero Alam in the last by-election, four times BNP-backed MP from the constituency and independent aspirant and very popular person Dr. Ziaul Haque Molla with Eagle symbol, Jatiya party-backed candidate Shahin Mostafa Kamal with Plough symbol, Independent aspirant Moshfiqur Rahman Kajol with Truck symbol, and Bangladesh Congress Party-backed aspirant Ashraful Alam allies Hero Alam with Green Coconut.

Kahaloo upazila is constituted with 9 unions and one municipality and Nandigram upazila is constituted with 5 unions and one municipality under 39-Bogura-04 constituency among 300 seats of the parliament of Bangladesh.

Total voters of the constituency under two upazilas are 3,44,514 persons. 189450 voters from Kahaloo upazila and 1,55,064 voters from Nandigram upazila including 6 transgender voters will be expected to cast their votes in the upcoming election tomorrow.

Due to the disconnection of the existing MP Tansen with the voters, mixed feelings of the pro-government. Jashod party men and the family-politics of the independent aspirant Dr. Ziaul Haque Molla has suffocated the 14-party aspirant in the constituency. The father of Dr. Zia Late Azizul Haque Molla, the former MP of the same constituency, has an extreme influence over the voters as he undertook some development projects in the area.

Contrary, a part of BNP-men has given support to the independent aspirant Dr. Zia and it has reached him in better position and another independent aspirant Hiro Alam could not touch the heart of the voters of the constituency.

Both the leading aspirants have expressed their confident position in winning in the upcoming poll-contest.
