Whip of Jatiya Sangsad and Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Abu Sayed Al Mahmud Swapan MP said at corona coordination meeting that human service is the first agenda of Sheikh Hasina’s government in the conference room of  Deputy Commissioner in Joypurhat district .

This government is working diligently to save the nation from the Corona epidemic by investing maximum labor. He sincerely called upon the people’s representatives and the field administration to play an important role in tackling Corona from the side of the people.

He further said that our generation could not participate in the great liberation war. Responding to the call of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib in 1971, the liberated people of this country, knowing the certain death, fought against the Pakistani aggressors and snatched the independence of the country in exchange for a sea of ​​blood.

We do not have the opportunity to fight the war of liberation, today we have the opportunity to do human service at the risk of our lives. He called upon patriotic people’s representatives, government officials and volunteers to take advantage of this great opportunity.

He said Joypurhat gained a reputation for treating patients identified as corona through a new isolation center last year. We have to work together to create an example in the country by arranging Corona treatment again.

The coordination meeting was chaired by  Deputy Commissioner Md Shariful Islam when  upazila chairmen, mayor of the municipality, UNO and concerned officials were present.

The meeting also decided to set up separate isolation centers in the district town, conduct more corona tests, introduce ICU in the district hospital quickly, provide high flow oxygen, ensure social distance in the raw market, motivate people to wear masks and enforce the law.
