One house wife was killed as a tree fall upon her by nor’wester in Phulbari upazila at around 3.30am on Sunday (April 13).

The deceased was identified as Sakila Begum 52 wife of Golam Hossain of village Fakirpara Jokurtol area under Shimulbari union of the upazila,

The deceased family sources said when the wind was blowing in high velocity with storm of nor’ wester a locally Valley variety of big size tree fell down on a C.I, shed room of the adjacent house. Sakila was sleeping on her bed and the tree fell on her body. She was killed on the spot.

After the storm locals recovered the dead body.

Officer-in-charge of Phulbari police station Shariful Islam said being informed the spot was visited. However the body was handed over to her family members.
