One house wife was electrocuted at Roumariupazila in Kurigram at noon on Friday (August 18).

The deceased was identified as RashedaKhatun 45 wife of Nekkar Hossain of village Kaunearchar under Dantbhanga union of Roumariupazila.

Locals and eyewitness said the electric wire was toned in her house. When the house wife touched the wire she was electrocuted and died on the spot.

Chairman of Dantbhanga UP Rasaul Karim ensured the incident.
