A prayer and iftar mahfil was held at the local Panchkatuli Magar intersection on the initiative of Rameshwarpur Union BNP and Angadal in Gabtali, Bogra yesterday to seek the recovery of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. During the prayer and iftar mahfil, prayers and special munajat were offered for the well-being and welfare of Zia’s family and all the leaders including Khaleda Zia. The chief guest was Morshed Milton, a member of the convening committee of the district and thana BNP and former upazila chairman.

Later, a prayer mahfil was held at another local madrasa for Begum Khaleda Zia’s recovery. BNP leader and former upazila chairman Morshed Milton also took part in it. Earlier, he (Milton) visited sick BNP leader Atiqur Rahman Saju and inquired about him.
