Free medical campaign of Ansar and Village Defense Force was held in Shibganj. This free medical campaign was held in Shibganj upazila on Thursday morning at the upazila auditorium.

This free medical campaign was organized by Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, Rajshahi Range in Shibganj Upazila of Chapainawabganj District to provide medical services to the poor members free of cost.

Free Medical Campaign was inaugurated by Bangladesh Ansar VDP Rajshahi Range Deputy Director General Kamrun Nahar BAMS, PVM.

Also present on the occasion were Md. Abdul Majeed, Director of 19 Ansar Battalion, PABA, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj District Commandant (ongoing duty) Md. Humayun Kabir, along with other officials of Ansar VDP range and district.

During the campaign, 520 Ansar VDP members of Shibganj Upazila were provided free medical care. On this day, the medical campaign started at 9 am and ended at 5 pm.

It may be noted that 4 doctors issued prescriptions to patients and 6 nursing assistants were engaged in round-the-clock service activities for incoming Ansar VDP members.
