The foundation stone of four storied new Dakbanglow at Roumariupazila in Kurigram laid by chairman of ZilaParishad,KurigramAlhaj Mohammad Jafar Ali at 10 am on Wednesday (November 08).

A meeting was also held at Roumari old Dakbanglow premises where chairman of ZilaParishad,Kurigram and president of Kurigram district unit of Awami League Alhaj Mohammad Jafar Ali (former MP) was present as the chief guest while chairman  of Roumariupazilaparishad Mohammad Iman Ali was in the chair.

The meeting was addressed among others by vice president of Kurigram district unit of AL Abu Mohammad SayedHasanLoban,ZilaParishad member Minhajul Islam Aiyub,Harunur Rashid, Sohel Sarkar,Armina Begum,EkramulHaque Bulbul,General Secretary of Roumariupazila AL Abu Horaira,chairman of Bandaber UP and valiant Freedom Fighter Abdul Kader,Roumariupazila Executive OfficerNahidHasan Khan,Officer-in-charge of Roumarithana Rup KumarSarkar,AdvocateAmzad Hossain and Assistant Engineer of ZilaParishadMizanur Rahman.Vice president of Roumariupazila AL Rasaul Karim Minu conducted the whole function.

The speakers emphasized for a modern Dakbanglow as many VIP guests come to Roumariupazila in various purposes. They have to face in troubles to stay here due to lack of modern Rest house. Although there is a Dakbanglow in Roumari but it could not be provided services due to lack of accommodation. The estimated cost of the four storied Dakbanglow at Tk. 4.30 crore, officials said.

Consequently, the dreams for a modern Dakbanglow among the people of Roumari is going to be materialized. A huge local elites, political leaders, activists and reporters were present there.
