Food items distributed among 1000 poor families in Kurigram

Boxes of food items have been distributed among 1,000 indigent families in Kurigram. These food items were distributed among 70,000 indigent families living in Bangladesh and FDMN Rohingyas under the Food Assistance Project 2021 with the funding of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

Boxes of these food items were handed over to 1,000 indigent families of the district under the overall management of Al-Manahil Welfare Foundation at Kurigram Government High School ground on Wednesday afternoon.

Kurigram District Awami League President and District Council Chairman Md. Zafar Ali was present as the chief guest at the food distribution function presided over by Kurigram Municipal Mayor Kaziul Islam. At the time, King Salman was a representative of the Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

Toha was led by Abdullah Khaled Al Usaymin, Muhammad Fadi Al Farsani, Maulana Mohiuddin Nanupuri, Thakurgaon Jamiria Madrasa Director Mufti Shariful Islam and Jamiria Mazharul Uloom Madrasa Director Mufti Habibur Rahman among others.
