RAB-5 arrested a drug dealer named Md Tariqul Islam (25) along with weapons, bullets and heroin in Chapainawabganj. Arrested Md Tariqul Islam Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana Kodalkati Jelepara village son of Abu Said.

This information was confirmed in a press release sent by RAB-5 on Monday (January 16) afternoon. According to RAB, on Sunday at 5:15 in the afternoon, he was arrested after raiding his residence of Tarikul in Kodalkati jail area of Sadar police station of Chapainawabganj district.

At that time, 1 pistol, 1 pistol magazine, 4 rounds of bullets, 150 grams of heroin and 2 mobile phones and drug sale cash of Rs.47,950/- were seized during the search of his house.

Arrested under interrogation, Tariqul admitted to selling drugs by keeping illegal weapons. A complaint has been filed against him at Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station.

RAB also said that he was sent to jail through the concerned police station on Monday morning.
