The minister was speaking as a special guest at the Pabna district Awami League’s triennial conference at Pabna police Lines ground on Saturday noon.

Pabna district Awami League’s triennial conference was attended by more than half a million people within the restrictions.

According to the government’s announcement, all gatherings, including gatherings of political activities, religious ceremonies and all kinds of gatherings are prohibited in the open space of Corona (Omicron). Central leaders addressed the rally. Although there were masks on the faces of the central leaders at the conference, there were no masks on the faces of more than half a million participants.

The situation arose at the Pabna District Awami League’s triennial conference at the Pabna Police Lines ground on Saturday afternoon.  Earlier, the conference started at 11:30 am with national and party flags and national anthem.

Asked about the rally, Deputy Commissioner Biswas Russel Hossain told New Age, “I have no comment on that.”
