The body of valiant Freedom Fighter and founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury will be taken at the Central Shaheed Minar in the city tomorrow (Thursday) morning as the people from all strata can pay their last respect.
The body will be kept there from 10am to 1pm, Gonoshasthaya Kendra Trustee Board chairman Alfatun Nesa told a press briefing at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital here.
The valiant freedom fighter will be given guard of honour at the Shaheed Minar, she said, adding, later his body will be taken to Suhrawardy Udyan where his first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held.
The second Nama-e-Janaza will be held at Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar on Friday after Jumma prayers. Aleya Chowdhury, younger sister of Dr Zafrullah, was present in the press briefing.
Dr Zafrullah breathed his last at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital on Tuesday night. He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter and well-wishers to mourn his death.
