The Deputy Director of the department of Inspection and Audit under the Ministry of Education (MoE) of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Dr. Rehena Khatun was awarded for practising sanctity and honesty in her office in the department in the capital on July 19 this year.

The department has started the award, subsidy giving programme from this year on national sanctity practising, Innovation and Annual Performance Agreement (APA). She was awarded for showing extreme sanctity and honesty in national sanctity affairs scale in the fiscal year of 2020-2021 session.

The Director of the Department of Inspection and Audit under the Ministry of Education (MoE) Professor Md. Oliullah Azmotgir handed over the award to the Deputy Director (DD) of the Department Dr. Rehena Khatun as she is known the symbol of honesty and sanctity in the education cadre.

During the award giving programme, Joint Director of the same department Bipul Chandra Sarkar was also present.

Dr. Rehena was born in a sophisticated family at Tajhat area under Rangpur town and she joined in the education cadre from 16^th BCS after completing her education from Carmichael College, Rangpur and Rajshahi University.

Dr. Rehena was the better half of Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Rangs Electronics Limited, Dhaka and Former General Secretary of Carmichael College Former Students’ Association, Rangpur Rakibus Sultan Manik.

She dedicated the sanctity award to the departed soul of her father and to her most respected elderly  mother.
