Under the Integrated Livestock Development Project  on the plains in Joypurhat, tin, poles and bricks have been distributed aimed at improving the socio-economic and living standards of the backward minorities living among the selected beneficiaries for making improved breeds of crossbred goats, food and cow sheds.

Jatiya Sangsad Whip and Member of Parliament Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan was the chief guest at a function organized by Sadar Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital at Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Sunday afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner Shariful Islam presided over the function while Superintendent of Police Masum Ahmed Bhuiyan, District Council Chairman Arifur Rahman Rocket, Deputy Project Director of Livestock Department Dr Anwar Sadat, District Livestock Officer Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Chairman SM Solaiman Ali, among others spoke.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Arafat Hossain, Upazila Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Rashedul Islam and others also took part here in the function.
