Combine harvester machines have been handed over among farmers in Dupchanchia upazila in Bogura on Wednesday.

Upazila Chairman Alhaj Fazlul Haque and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muha Abu Tahir distributed combine harvesters among the farmers through subsidy organized by Dupchanchia Upazila Agriculture Extension Office.

Lokman Ali Sheikh, a farmer from Talora, was present at Upazila Agriculture Office premises while handing over the keys with the machine. Agriculture Officer Sajedul Alam, Agriculture Extension Officer Kamna Shis, Press Club President Golam Faruk, Company BDO Atish Majumder, MRM Harun-ur-Rashid and others took part here.

Note that under the agro-mechanization project, combine harvester machines worth Tk. 30 lakh 50 thousand were disbursed to the farmers at a subsidy of Tk. 14 lakhs paying Tk 16 lakhs 50
