Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad budget announcement

Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad has announced a budget of Tk 37 crore 99 lakh 11 thousand 868.40 for the fiscal year 2023-24. Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Afaz Uddin announced the budget in Alhaj Moinuddin Mandal conference room of the Parishad on Monday morning.

In the proposed budget of Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad, own income in various sectors has been estimated at 12 crore 6 lakh 50 thousand taka, government grant 5 crore 3 lakh 60 thousand taka, total income of 85 lakh in various sectors has been estimated at 17 crore 95 lakh 10 thousand taka. Total income is 37 crore 99 lakh 11 thousand 868.40 taka with initial status 20 crore 4 lakh 1 thousand 868.40 taka.

In the budget, the establishment cost of Zilla Parishad has been estimated at 9 crore 98 lakh 4 thousand 117.30 taka, 2 crore 8 lakh 45 thousand 882.70 taka from the own fund of the zilla parishad, 5 crore 3 lakh 60 thousand from the government grant. Taka, 5 crore 72 lakh taka in various sectors and the closing balance is kept at 15 crore 17 lakh 1 thousand 868.40 taka. In all, the total cost has been estimated at 37 crore 99 lakh 11 thousand 868.40 taka.

After the budget announcement, the 5th monthly meeting of the Zilla Parishad Development Coordination Committee was held. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Zilla Parishad and the President of the Zilla Parishad Development Coordinating Committee, Alhaj Ruhul Amin, a brave freedom fighter.

Zilla Parishad Advisor and Sadar Constituency Member of Parliament Abdul Wadud, Gomstapur Upazila Parishad Chairman Humayan Reza, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Tosikul Islam, Shibganj Municipality Mayor Syed Monirul Islam, Nachol Municipality Mayor Abdur Rashid Khan Jhalu, District Elected members of the council include Abdus Salam (Shibganj), Hosne Ara Pakhi (Bholahat), Kabir Khan (Gomstapur), Tarikuzzaman Suman (Nachol), reserved members Taslima Begum and Shabnam Sabiha Keya and others.
