Cash money have been distributed among flood hit poor families by AFAD in Kurigram at noon on Tuesday (September).

Initiated by Association for Alternative Development (AFAD) a Non-Government Organization in Kurigram and assistance by Nari Pokkho a total of ninety thousand taka have been formally distributed among 40 women chief families at Panchgachi union under Kurigram Sadar upazila. Each family received taka 2250.

Kurigram Sadar upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Rashedul Hasan, Chairman of Panchgachi union council Md. Abdul Baten, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AFAD Saida Yasmin, Project Director Reshma Sultana and senior accountant Abul Hasan were present in the distribution ceremony among others
