By-election in 2 constituencies held peacefully, Candidates from AL, Mohajot won in Bogura

The by-election of two constituencies of Bogura district held fairly and peacefully from 8 AM to 4 PM on Wednesday long though number of voters was very low in number.

Voting manipulation in any centre of the two constituencies was not happened during vote taking, informed election Office of Bogura and few of the candidates alleged some matters orally but the allegations were not proved so far.

Election office sources said that in Bogura-06 constituency (sadar) upazila, Awami League-backed candidate Ragebul Ahsan Ripu bagged 49, 336 votes for boat symbol whereas independent candidate Abdul Mannan 21, 864 votes for truck symbol and 22.34 percent votes in 143 centres.

In Bogura-04 constituency (Kahaloo and Nandigram), Mohajot alliance-backed Jashod candidate AKM Rezaul KarimTansen bagged 20, 405 votes for Moshal symbol whereas independent candidate Ashraful Hossain Alam (Hero Alam) bagged 19,571 votes for Aktara and finally alliance candidate defeated independent candidate by 834 votes casted votes 23.92 percent in 112 centres.

Voters from different centres of the two constituencies said that they have cast votes peacefully and fairly and they could easily move to the vote centres and cast their votes to their respected candidates.
