A butcher named Anwar Hossain (45) was killed when a bus overturned in Dhaperhat area of ​​Rangpur Darshana-Vendabari road on the border of Mithapukur. .The incident took place around 10:30 pm on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Anwar, son of Abdul Mannan of Janaki Dhaperhat Guatipara in Sadyapuskarni Union of Rangpur Sadar. He used to work as a butcher at Ershadmore in Ranipukur of the adjoining Mithapukur upazila.

According to eyewitnesses and family members of the deceased, Anwar Hossain was returning home after completing his butchery work in a battery-powered van at around 10:30 pm on Friday. On reaching Dhaperhat, a bus coming from the opposite direction crushed the van and left the van twisted and twisted. Monwar Hossain fell from the van and was seriously injured. He was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital with blood on his nails and mouth and was pronounced dead by the on-duty doctor.
