A 10-day BSCIC Entrepreneurial Fair has started in Chapainawabganj. Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation-BCIC organized this fair with local entrepreneurs.
Acting Deputy Commissioner (Deputy Director of Local Government) Debendra Nath Uraon also inaugurated the fair by cutting the ribbon and blowing balloons at the collectorate square on Friday at noon.
Later, a discussion meeting was held at Bangabandhu Manch under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Anisur Rahman.
Assistant General Manager of BCIC District Office Abu Hossain, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Tashmina Khatun spoke on the occasion.
In the opening ceremony, brave freedom fighter Adv. Abdus Samad, Extension officer of BSIC district office Abdur Rahim along with district administration, upazila administration, officials and entrepreneurs of BSIC office were present.
Entrepreneurs are displaying and selling various products in 50 stalls in this fair with the cooperation of the district administration. On the occasion of the fair, there will be a cultural program organized by the District Arts Academy every afternoon. This fair will end on March 10.
