Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) of Shariakandi office has extended humanitarian help to the flood victims by the mighty Jamuna River at Esamara village under Kamalpur union of Shariakandi upazila in Bogura on Tuesday afternoon.
BRAC has extended humanitarian and helping hands to the at least 250 families of the remote char area. On the occasion of particulars distribution ceremony, a short discussion was held at the premise of Kamalpur Government Primary School.
The programme was presided over by the chairman of Kamalpur union parishad Raseduzzaman Rasel while the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Shariakandi upazila Sabuj Kumar Basak was present as the chief guest and BRAC Bogura district coordinator Babli Suraiya was present as the special guest.
A BRAC humanitarian support box is loaded with 4 steel plates, 1 cooking spud, 2 Spoons, 1 Water Gallon, 1 Saucepan, 3 Water Glasses, 1 Mug, 1 Bucket, 1 Cooking Pot, 1 Steel Vessel, 2 Steel Bowl to each family.
During the distribution, BRAC Senior Officer Taslima Khatun, Redwanuzzaman Chowdhury, Sanjida Mostafa and Haider Ali and others were simultaneously present in the porgramme.
