The People of Bogura are going to have Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre and hi-tech Park, and Science and Technology University very soon.

The ICT Ministry of the People Republic of Bangladesh has shown interest in establishing the Sheikh Kamal hi-tech Park, Science and Technology University before the upcoming national election countrywide.

The newly elected Member of Parliament of Bogura sadar constituency and General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Bogura district unit Ragebul Ahsan Ripu and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md. Saiful Islam have been trying their best to fulfil the demand of the people of the district.

Besides, they have also been working hard to return the venue standard of Shaheed Chandu Stadium as Bangladesh Cricket Board venue and so far they have gained green signal from the state minister of Sports Ministry.

They have been searching location at the Government khas land at Beel Nuruil area under Shakharia union of sadar upazila in Bogura for establishing Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre and Science and Technology University in the same location.

Recently they have visited the location in the area so that they can send their proposal to the concern ministry. DC of Bogura Saiful Islam said that better location has been searching for establishing Science and technology University there.

Member of Parliament of Bogura sadar constituency and General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Bogura district unit Ragebul Ahsan Ripu said that the government is expected to unveil the foundation stone of the university during the tenure of the present government, the government has been trying best to mitigate the traffic jam in the town, the government has sanctioned at Tk. 50 lakh for the building of the Bogura Press Club and Many establishments will be visible in the district soon.

During the visit of the locations of the Park and University, the upazila chairman of sadar upazila Abu Shufian Safiq and UNO of sadar upazila Firoza Parvin were present simultaneously.
