Blankets have been distributed among the working workers of Panama Sonamasjid Port Link Limited and Madrasa students in Chapainawabganj. These blankets are distributed under the initiative of Panama Sonamasjid Port Link Limited-GBEL and Kalyar Replica & Kalyar Packaging Limited.

Chapainawabganj-1 Seat Member of Parliament Dr. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul inaugurated the blanket distribution program as the chief guest at Panama Sonamsjid Port Link Limited premises on Tuesday at noon.

Shibganj Upazila Executive Officer AFM Abu Sufian, Sonamasjid Land Port Assistant Director Alimuzzaman Bakul, Port Manager Mainul Islam, Senior Manager Tipu Sultan, Shibganj Municipality Former Mayor Karibul Haque Razin, Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Touhidul Alam Tia and others were present.

Meanwhile, Panama Port Link Manager Mainul Islam said that blankets were distributed among 2,200 laborers of working at the port and Madrasa students today. He said that Panama Sonamasjid Port Link Limited has been distributing winter clothes among the working workers and the poor every year and this initiative will continue in the future.
