The blankets have been distributed among poor and cold people in Khulipara in Rajshahi metropolis while Rajshahi City Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton was present as the chief guest and distributed blankets among 1500 cold people at the ceremony organized at Khulipara Eidgah ground on Thursday.

Maniruzzaman Moni, a prominent social worker of Ward No. 27, organized this winter clothes distribution program. In the chief guest’s explanation on the occasion, Mayor Liton said that the intensity of winter has increased in Rajshahi. Two more cold streams are likely this month. Winter clothes are being distributed to ease the suffering of people. We have been, are and will continue to be there for people’s needs.
Earlier Rajshahi District Motor Workers Union leader Md Arif Sheikh presented a bouquet of flowers to Rasik Mayor. The organizer of the event (Rasik Ward No. 27) councilor candidate Md. Moriuzzaman Moni said in his brief speech that if the councilor is elected in RCC Ward No. 27, the drains of that ward will be constructed, CC cameras will be installed in the dangerous places of the entire ward to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the ward residents.

Various employment arrangements for the unemployed, elimination of drugs from the ward and treatment of drug addicts, assistance in the education of boys and girls of poor and helpless families will be the chief.
