Birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been celebrated with various programs taken by 11 Ansar Battalion at Hili under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur with due dignity and respect On Wednesday.

To make the programme a grand success, Md Abdul Majid, Director, 11 Ansar Battalion,  Assistant Director Md Abdul Mottaleb, Assistant Director Md Abul Kalam Azad, Company Commander Md Sujan Rana and members of various ranks of the battalion have taken.

As the sun rises, the day begins with a milad mahfil and special munajat offering for the peace, prosperity and progress of the nation, peace of soul of all the martyrs of the great liberation war and progress of the Ansar and village defense forces in compliance with the rules of health.

Besides, floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu, display of documentary paintings on Bangabandhu, cake cutting on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birthday, sports and cultural programs have also chalked out on the day.
