It is learned that Hafizur Rahman, son of late Hakim Uddin Doctor of Hamchayapur village of Shahbandegi union of the upazila, along with his niece Sakhawat went to Saiful Islam’s house in Naodapara village of the same union on Tuesday, June 21 to have a feast. After receiving the invitation, he spent the night in that house on the day.

Mr. Anwar Hossain, Abul Hossain, Nayan Hossain and Raihan Hossain, led by Union Awami League member Rabiul Islam Babu, went to the house around 7 am on Wednesday, June 22 and called Hafizur Rahman out of the house with Saiful’s wife and beat him up acousing him extra marital  affairs with Saiful’s wife and they want  him  forcefully to sign on white paper. As they did not sign the white paper, they cut off Hafizur’s hair and snatched Tk .35,000 in cash, an Android mobile phone , a gold chain and a ring.

Husband Saiful Islam said, “I want justice for the disgrace that people including Babu came and beat my uncle and father-in-law with false accusations and cut their hair.”

Hafizur Rahman said, when I went to my niece’s house for dinner, some people from that village woke me up in the morning from sleep and beat me and cut the hair of the head.

Rabiul Islam Babu said, we have not cut the hair, Kohinoor’s husband Saiful has cut the hair .

Officer-in-Charge Shahidul Islam of Sherpur police station  said, ” Legal action shall be taken if I get any complaint .
