Bhabatosh Roy Mona, (Gaibandha) ::
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan MP said that RAB has become a place of trust and confidence today on the instructions of the Prime Minister. Since its inception, RAB has gained confidence in the minds of the people by arresting militants, terrorists, gangsters, armed criminals, drug addicts, snatchers, illegal arms smugglers, rapists, extortionists, yaba terrorists and other criminals and has succeeded in reaching the hearts of the people.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared the Sundarbans free of pirates as a result of the RAB’s successive operations.In the Corona epidemic, RAB has shown the highest professionalism in the service of the country, including ensuring social distance and the use of masks.
RAB is not only administrative, it is working on the side of the people at night, that is what Bangabandhu wanted. Realizing the helplessness of the helpless people in the severity of winter, they are distributing blankets among the people suffering from cold. Country service is embracing the warmth of the cold-stricken people in remote areas. He said poor and helpless people are a part of the country and society, so everyone including the rich of the society should stand by the helpless people.
He said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman went to Rajarbagh in 1975 and told the police force that you are not Pakistani or British police. You have to be the police of the people. We have to work from the side of the people.
Today, under the direction of the Father of the Nation, the police force has reached the place of trust of the people, not the place of fear. Bangladesh is moving forward at a relentless pace because the police are working. If the police, RAB and other forces did not provide us security, everything would have fallen apart.
