Mamun-ur-Rashd, Bogura: The Monthly Welfare Meeting of 4-Armed Police Battalion (APBN) of Bogura was held at Drill Shade inside 4-APBN head office at Nishindhara area in Bogura town on Wednesday noon.
The prudent Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBN, Bogura, and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bangladesh Police Md. Joynul Abedin presided over the welfare meeting.
During the welfare meeting, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sr. ASP) of Bangladesh Police Helena Akter, Senior ASP Rowshan Mostafiz and other inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, ASIs and forces were present in the meeting.
In the welfare meeting, Inspector (Unarmed) Rabiul Islam of Operations and Intelligence department under the APBN was awarded with certificate, crest and financial prize for the best recovery of narcotics and smuggling.
The other Inspectors and Sub-Inspector (Unarmed) Ataur Rahman were also awarded with financial prize, certificate and crests for the best performance in the recovery and arrest of the narcotic peddlers.
The 20 police members were awarded with giving 20 thousand taka and 178 APBN personnel were awarded with Good services (GS) Mark for their good professional works in the same meeting.
The Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBN, Bogura, and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bangladesh Police Md. Joynul Abedin ordered the personnel to be aware of corona pandemic, cold wave ahead and advised to take pre-cautionary steps so that the virus can be protected.
The APBN forces were also advised to maintain physical and social distance in conducting their job, added the CO of 4-APBN.
