RAB-12, CPSC Sirajganj arrested two drug dealers with 700 grams of cannabis

An operation team of Special Company, RAB-12 Sirajganj has arrested two drug dealers Mohammad Mamun Islam (20) and Mohammad Abdus Salam (32) with 700 grams of cannabis in an anti-drug operation under Salanga police station in Sirajganj district.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Mamun Islam, 20, son of Abdul Hanif of Alokdia Madhempara under Salanga police station of Sirajganj district and Mohammad Abdus Salam, 32, son of Mohammad Nurul Islam of Khutigachha village under Tarash police station.

The matter has been confirmed by ASP Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj, Company Commander of Special Company RAB-12, Sirajganj. According to the press release, on the basis of secret information, they were arrested on Friday while conducting a raid on a dirt road on the east side of Alokdia Cemetery (south corner) in Alokdia village of Sirajganj district under Salanga police station.

At that time 700 grams of cannabis, 2 mobile sets and 3 SIM cards were recovered from him. Subsequently, a case has been filed against the recovered evidence and the arrested accused at Salanga police station in Sirajganj district under the Narcotics Act.
